Message from Dean Academics

At PCET’s Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering and Research (PCCOER), our academic philosophy is rooted in the transformation of young, dynamic learners into competent professionals capable of leading innovation and sustainable development. We strive to create an academically vibrant environment that encourages creativity, analytical thinking, and ethical values, preparing students to excel in a rapidly evolving technological landscape. As an Autonomous Institution affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) and approved by AICTE, New Delhi, PCCOER upholds the highest standards of academic excellence. With its NBA accreditation (4 UG Programs), NAAC A++ accreditation, and ISO 21001:2018 certification, the institute has established itself as a hub of quality education, innovation, and research since its inception in 2014.

The academic framework at PCCOER emphasizes Outcome-Based Education (OBE), Project-Based Learning (PBL), and a flexible, choice-based curriculum aligned with NEP 2020 and industry requirements. Through continuous curriculum enhancement, hands-on experiential learning, and interdisciplinary collaboration, we aim to equip students with the technical and managerial competencies essential for employability and lifelong learning. We also foster strong linkages between academia and industry through internships, expert lectures, industrial visits, and student-led initiatives such as NSS, Earn & Learn Scheme, and technical clubs. These initiatives enrich students’ practical exposure and strengthen their leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
