Intellectual Property Rights Cell at PCCOER

Research publications play a pivotal role in strengthening PCCOER’s Research and Development (R&D) ecosystem. They serve as a vital medium for disseminating new knowledge, innovative ideas, and scientific advancements to the global academic community.

The production of intellectual property (IP) and copyrighted work forms a vital component of the innovative and cutting-edge research being pursued at PCCOER. In today’s highly competitive and knowledge-driven global economy, it has become essential that novel ideas, concepts, and solutions emerging from the research efforts of faculty and students are systematically recognized, protected, and nurtured. Intellectual Property not only safeguards the originality and creativity of such work but also enables its transformation into tangible assets that can generate economic and social value.

At PCCOER, special emphasis is placed on strengthening competitiveness by fostering a culture of innovation and ensuring that the intellectual contributions of stakeholders are adequately acknowledged. The institute actively works towards generating awareness among students and faculty about the importance of IP, while also providing in-depth insights into the complex processes of creation, ownership, and protection of intellectual property rights.

To achieve this, PCCOER has established a structured support system that includes guidance, training, and due diligence provided by a dedicated team. This team comprises internal faculty members who are trained in the fundamentals and practices of intellectual property management, as well as experienced patent attorneys with exposure to national and international IP systems.

By fostering this ecosystem, PCCOER not only protects the innovations of its academic community but also enables them to translate their research into impactful solutions with commercial, societal, and technological value.
