Academic Review & Monitoring
Overview
The Academic Review and Monitoring Cell (AMC) at PCCOER plays a vital role in ensuring the continuous enhancement of academic quality, compliance with national accreditation standards (NAAC, NBA, ISO 21001:2018), and alignment with the institute’s Vision and Mission. The system is designed to foster transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement across all teaching-learning processes through systematic reviews, structured monitoring, and data-driven decision-making at both the Institute and Department levels.
Regular academic review meetings are conducted under the guidance of the Dean Academics, involving HoDs, Academic Coordinators, and the IQAC team to evaluate academic progress, curriculum delivery, and compliance with quality benchmarks. At the department level, Program Assessment Committees (PACs) review course outcome attainment, curriculum gaps, and Curriculum Beyond Syllabus (CBS) activities, ensuring alignment with NEP 2020 and Outcome-Based Education (OBE) principles. Attendance monitoring, mentoring, and counseling mechanisms ensure student engagement and academic discipline, supported by digital ERP-based tracking and reporting. Faculty members maintain and periodically verify comprehensive course files covering lesson plans, assessments, and outcome evaluations, reviewed monthly for quality assurance. Consolidated reports such as Academic Monitoring Reports & PAC Monitoring Reports enable evidence-based improvements. This robust review system ensures that all academic activities at PCCOER are effectively planned, monitored, and continuously enhanced in alignment with institutional goals and national quality frameworks, thereby promoting academic excellence and outcome-oriented education.
